SYNOPSIS: Patsy has been assigned the sad task of packing up their mother Clare's "life" in boxes, as her sister Brenda supervises Clare's upcoming move to a hospice. In her confusion, Clare believes she has just won the huge sweepstakes given out to people who subscribe to magazines. She made sure of this by subscribing to every periodical they offer. Soon she knows she'll be able to move into a real house and take care of her family with the winnings. Brenda and Patsy discover Clare has subscribed to life, instead of having lived it. Now it's up to them to choose whether to tell their mother the truth about her going to the hospice or support her fantasy of winning the big one.
